Welcome to my blog (for details on why it was posthumously called the way it is called - His Dark CMBlog - please see my later post)! If you want to find out more about me, or simply associate a face to my name, the rest of this website will probably be of help. In my blog I plan to write about a wide variety of topics I am interested in, ranging from physics (ok, mostly cosmology and related areas) to music, football, travels, cooking, and so on, pretty much everything except politics.
You can expect regular updates roughly every 3-4 weeks. Most of my posts will be in English, but occasionally I will also translate them to Italian and/or Swedish (mostly depending on time constraints). In the future I might also consider having guest posts. The opinions expressed are mine and mine alone (unless a guest is posting), and I don’t expect everyone to agree with them. If you don’t agree, that’s great, and that’s what the comments section is for (as long as you’re polite and don’t throw politics in the comments)!
Occasionally I might blog more frequently - e.g. if I am at an important conference I might blog on a daily basis with a brief summary of what’s been going on each day. Or less frequently, again depending on time constraints.
In addition to “regular” posts, I plan on having one or more shorter columns. At the end of each week, I will be updating my “Top arXiv papers of the week” column, where I will very briefly summarize 5 papers which caught my attention on the arXiv, and which I particularly enjoyed. These aren’t necessarily the best papers, nor the most interesting ones in an absolute sense, and the choice of papers probably says more about my interests than anything else.
If you have any questions, you are always more than welcome to contact me (and follow me on Twitter and Instagram). Enjoy!
